About Koh Laoliang
Ko Laoliang (Lao Liang) is a massive twin rock island amidst the sea 30 km off the coast of Trang, consisting of two parts: north and south island . The southern island is inhabited by fishermen whose longtail boats anchor on a very beautiful beach. This has the potential beauty of the beach in Maya Bay (Koh Phi Phi), a perfect white beach (The Beach) in front of the stunning wall of the rock island.
On the northern island Laoliang Resort offers tents and kayaks for rent, with which the islands can be bypassed. The North Island has a small beach to the east and a tree-covered small flat area behind the steep cliffs. There are no other offers on the two islands.
Getting there: Tigerlinetravel express boats stop at Laoliang on their daily passage from Hat Yao Pier to Koh Lipe (during season from November till April). Longtail boats can drive individually from Libong or Sukorn.

Good for: day trips for snorkeling or for some days living in a tent between the sea and the rock wall.
